If you’re an AK-47 appreciator like us, then you’ll love this 7.62x39 ammunition by Fiocchi. It was manufactuered in Ozark, MO, which means it hasn’t got the magnetic bimetal jacket or nonreloadable steel case which are both characteristic of a Russian round. Noncorrosive Boxer-primed reloadable brass all the way! You can even see where the brass was heat-treated for added durability (the discoloration is purely cosmetic; these aren’t previously fired and reloaded cartridges.)
This round’s 123 grain full metal jacket consists of a lead core and copper-alloy shell. It’s not going to expand if it hits a soft medium – but it’s certainly not going to leave a soft medium in better condition after striking it, either.
