The 7.62x39 was designed to lay down the enemies of the USSR. But as always, it doesn’t matter what communists think. If you decided that the 7.62x39 is good for hunting medium game, then it sure is.

Ammo Inc. loads these deer and hog nightmares in the state of Wisconsin using Hornady’s prized SST projectiles. That makes this one of the rare 7.62x39 rounds with a polymer tipped bullet!

The SST lives up to Ammo Inc.’s Hunt Long Range (LR) label with its sharp tip, boat tail, and sweeping secant ogive jacket profile. These features sufficiently streamline the bullet so it can fly flatter, ignore more wind deflection, and hit its target with greater power. The SST’s tip triggers brutal expansion as it plunges into the dense, one-piece lead core’s nose cavity. Its cannelure and InterLock ring both exist to promote higher weight retention: the reason why the SST is equipped to deliver the deep penetration that lays trophies down stat.

American-made brass cases: polished and reloadable. Ammo Inc.’s own Hyperclean Technology propellant: reduces fouling by minimizing unburnt propellant. Boxer primers: noncorrosive, of course!
