Here’s the problem: The full metal jacket bullet you would typically use for target practice contains hard lead and copper. These metals can fragment to ricochet back at you – especially when you are shooting at steel targets.

Here’s the solution: Remington’s Disintegrator line of ammunition. This 9mm +P cartridge is outfitted with a frangible bullet, which is made of sintered copper and tin powders. When a frangible bullet connects with a hard surface, it turns into harmless dust – and we mean truly harmless. This frangible bullet contains no lead that you could breathe in while firing indoors.

This is an overpressure (+P) round, and its bullet is light at 101 grains because copper/tin powder is much less dense than lead. With its boosted chamber pressure and lightweight bullet the cartridge delivers a very fast 1,250 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel. That will give you a flatter trajectory at the range, or greater potential if you ever use this ammo for personal protection in your home.

Please check to make sure your firearm is rated for 9mm +P before you load this ammo in it. (9mm Glocks are okay!)

Remington’s Disintegrator ammo features lead-free Boxer primers to promote even cleaner shooting environments. Once emancipated from its bullet this round’s brass case is suitable for handloading.
