Federal tops the cartridge using a 115-grain bullet with a copper jacket. The projectile's full metal jacket (FMJ) profile has a round nose which glides up feed ramps with relative ease. With a muzzle velocity of 1,125 feet per second, these 9mm Luger rounds will produce relatively light recoil which is great for practice on cardboard or paper targets. Federal does not recommend these rounds for use in handguns equipped with vented compensators or ported barrels.
