Details

Federal Premium ammunition is manufactured in Idaho and commonly used by law enforcement agencies to fulfill contracts with rigid requirements. As can be expected, the Champion brand is trusted by shooters of various backgrounds who want an inexpensive choice to run in old classics like the Browning Hi-Power as well as brand new pistols like the S&W M&P Compact 2.0. This 9mm Parabellum ammo is made using factory-rolled brass casings that can be cleaned and reloaded after use. Each case wears a non-caustic Boxer primer at its base which won't leave behind harsh chemicals in firearms.

Federal tops the cartridge using a 115-grain bullet with a copper jacket. The projectile's full metal jacket (FMJ) profile has a round nose which glides up feed ramps with relative ease. With a muzzle velocity of 1,125 feet per second, these 9mm Luger rounds will produce relatively light recoil which is great for practice on cardboard or paper targets. Federal does not recommend these rounds for use in handguns equipped with vented compensators or ported barrels.
