So, what should you do to reduce your exposure to lead? Especially if you train indoors, where there is nowhere for lead gas to disperse to? The answer is three words long.
Remington Range Clean. This 9mm ammo’s bullets and primers are both designed to keep lead away from your lungs!
The flat nose enclosed base bullet only superficially resembles a soft point. It’s not designed for expansion. You can’t see what makes the FNEB special while it is seated in its case. That’s its fully jacketed base, which keeps hot propellant from boiling any part of its core off during ignition. Keeps the barrel cleaner, too!
Don’t go looking for lead inside this ammo’s special primers. You won’t find any. Further inspection will reveal otherwise normal, new brass cases – crackerjack stuff for handloading future range ammo.
