This 9mm +P ammunition by Atomic offers match grade accuracy. You could use that to do impressive things at the range, or you may save it for a self-defense scenario – because this round’s bullet is much more than accurate.

The 124 grain bullet has a bonded jacket. That’s why it retains 75 percent or more of its total weight even after it strikes its target at high velocity, thus preserving enough momentum to bore 12” or deeper into soft tissue.

The bullet’s nose cavity causes it to expand to approximately 150 percent of its original diameter. That would prove highly injurious on its own, but this bullet doubles down by shedding petals during penetration to create additional smaller wound channels.

Better yet, this is a +P cartridge that delivers a muzzle velocity in the neighborhood of 1,300 fps. It strikes a target up close with over 450 ft lbs of energy, which is about 50 percent more than the minimum recommended for self-defense. (Please check to make sure if your 9mm handgun is rated for +P. All 9mm Glocks can fire 9mm +P.)

This American-made match and self-defense ammo has nickel-plated brass cases to enhance smoother feeding, chambering and extraction, as well as protect against corrosion.
