Its 138 grain segmented hollow point projectile doesn’t expand during penetration, but rather splits apart to wreak four separate wound channels as it penetrates. Its core keeps its original trajectory and burrows 12 to 18 inches deep, while its segments break away to create their own six inch or deeper cavities. This bullet showcases Federal’s revolutionary Syntech jacket. It is made of high strength polymer rather than copper, and therefore not only fouls a bore less, but further causes less friction as it passes through it.
