runs in a finicky gun
I have a Kahr CT380 that is finicky about what ammo it will cycle with, even roundnose FMJ. PMC is on the "good" list with this gun. Some other brands don't seem to have quite enough juice to cycle the slide reliably.
Clean but a bit rough to chamber and eject.
Broke in my S&W m&p shield 380 ez with this stuff. Every round fired; but, compared to the Fiocchi I bought at the same time, these rounds felt rough upon chambering the first round. Other than that, really liked the stuff.
One of the most consistant performing rounds for the price!
This is my go to range ammo for my pistols when I do shoot my .380 pistols. Normally I shoot my 9s or my .45 so I don't shoot my .380s as much as I should. But when I do we will put 300-500 rounds in the ammo can and have fun .
Overall I have never had a bad batch of ammo from PMC where i have had issues with other brands.
Overall it is accurate for shooting steel and reactive targets. I have had very few issues with extraction or feeding. But i have had a few jams but no more than any quality brass cased ammo.
I would definitely buy more of th in s whenever it goes on sale. It would also work in a pinch for self defense. Afterall its better then nothing but it is the most reliable. 380 ball ammo that I have used in this price range.
This ammo is the best "bang for a buck" that I've found!
The rounds we're accurate without any miss-fires. The price was right as the service great. I will be sure to always use Lucky Gunner ammo in the future.
.380 90 grain, FMJ, PMC, 50 rounds
Have fired in my three Bersa's, models CC, standard and Plus. Never a malfunction of.any kind in 500 rounds total between the guns. Gave 4 stars, which has nothing to do with ammo. Shipping costs and current cost of .380 ammo are not a value compared to 9mm.
I took 5 boxes of PMC 380 ACP to the range to break-in my then new Sig P232. 250 rounds - zero issues. It doesn't get better than that. I downgraded the value category because, even though Lucky Gunner is competitive, there are no good values in 380 ACP.
Perfect in PPK/S
I have run approximately 350 rounds through my S&W Walther PPK/S-1 without a single problem. Very accurate and well made round. Some PPK's are a little finicky but this works like a charm. Lucky Gunner has very competitive pricing, fast secure shipping, abd superb customer service--great company.
Good n cheap
It's absurd how difficult it is to find 380 ammo these days. This is the best place to get it. Even with shipping it's still cheaper than most retailers and these guys are never out of stock. This particular brand of cartridge shot great from my Bersa Thunder 380 CC. I like it. LuckyGunner all the way.
I'm using a .380 as my summer carry weapon. I am also introducing the daughter of a friend who just graduated college to handgun shooting. She has shot .22 and .380.
The .380 ammo I purchased has performed flawlessly.
I bought a 380 Ruger LCP and shot 36 rounds and great groupings and no misfires. Good price, great customer service as it came 3 days after ordering. Have told friends about this site and I will purchase again from here!
Great Quality and Value for target shooters
I bought this ammo in the 1000 round package which made it cheeper only. It's the same great quality and rerformance as the 50 round package. I got 20, 50 round boxes in my order and have shot about a quarter of it. The gun was a snap to clean for re-use. I will recommend it to all my friends.
I purchased this ammo for my Walther PPK 380. This PMC ammo shot flawlessly in the PPK. Other ammo I tried in the past has given me issues had many FTEs. LG service was great - ammo shipped promptly and the website is very easy to navigate and use. Thanks LG for supporting us shooters with great prices and service!
My Walther PPKS shot this ammo just fine. It left a bit of powder residue on the front of the slide and barrel but this may be normal for the PPKS. I've had the gun for over 20 years and finally decided to put 150 rounds through it at the range. The ammo was consistant and grouped very well, no missfires at all. Very happy with the performance of the ammo.
Consistent and superb!
Have used this in my S&W made PPK/S for quite a while and has been flawless. Clean and perfect as target round. Luckygunner has provided service every bit as good as this ammo through several purchases and will definitely buy from them again.
Shot 50 rounds through my Bersa Thunder 380, had no jams or misfires. Very satisfied with the product and how fast LG got the order to me. A little pricey but OK paying extra for great service and speed of receiving ammunition for entire order.
Never a misfire in my Bersa 380 Thunder
Have shot hundreds of rounds of PMC through my 380 Titan II and the Bersa Thunder 380, never a jam or misfire, no problems!!! A little dirty, but that's why we clean our guns. Has always worked great........
Can't find .380's just everywhere anymore, but I know I can count on Luckygunner
.380's are known for their problems in feeding, due to the close tolerances in these pistols. I have a Kahr 380. PMC is the only brand I have shot thru this pistol where I have never had a misfeed/misfire. Price is very reasonable.
I am impressed with the shipping time. Once I order online, within 3 days I've got my ammo. Very happy with the quality too.
l380 Kahr's are known for needing a break-in period. You need to shoot 200 to 300 rounds before it stops misfiring. Once I broke mine in I haven't had any problem with any ammo, especially from Lucky Gunner.
Bought a Kahr .380. At 1st, it misfed every 3rd rd. Then every 10, after 100 rds. I used several different brands. Finally, I bought PMC Bronze after firing 400 rds. While firing 50 rds of PMC Bronze, I encountered not one misfeed.
