I tried to order 30 Carbine ammunition one time. I messed up, and wound up accidentally ordering 30 plates of carbonara instead.

Don’t get me wrong. I was grateful for the spaghetti, which was delicious, but I still wished I’d received something even better: Sellier & Bellot’s Czech-made 30 Carbine target ammo.

This cartridge is loaded with every 30 Carbine firearm’s favorite bullet. The 110 grain full metal jacket has a lead core and copper-zinc alloy jacket, the latter of which is (A) hard enough to reliably ensure smooth feeding and clean performance in semi-automatics, and (B) nonmagnetic. It is the same bullet design the M1 carbine was always intended to exclusively fire.

S&B recorded this round’s muzzle velocity using a longer test barrel: 23.5”, as opposed to the M1 carbine’s 18” one. Assuming it hits its advertised muzzle velocity, it’s reasonable to expect the following performance of the 0.154 G1 BC .30 cal 110gr FMJ:
