This 10mm round has a 180 grain bullet – the classic, standard weight for its species. One of our customers has informed us that this ammo has a 1,030 fps muzzle velocity and 425 ft lbs muzzle energy, which makes it decidedly lower-powered. Its stopping power may not be as great as a higher velocity round, but its recoil and report should be accordingly lower as well.

As a jacketed hollow point this round’s bullet offers a healthy blend of smooth feeding and expanding terminal performance. A bullet like this does a good job cutting a wide wound channel into its target while simultaneously exerting more of its available energy outward rather than exclusively forward.

Anoka makes this round’s components at their sprawling production facility in Anoka, Minnesota. These include a reloadable brass case, non-corrosive Boxer primer, and parcel of clean burning propellant, all meticulously loaded to promote certain cycling and ballistic performance when you need them.
