A: Hello again Wesley! This ammo is noncorrosive. No American civilian ammo manufacturer has loaded a corrosive primer in about 100 years. Most U.S. military ammo manufacturers switched to noncorrosive primers during the '50s. You really only have to worry about old Soviet military surplus.

A: Yes sir. This round's bullet is not designed to expand as it penetrates soft tissue, but its terminal performance following close-to-medium range impact is fairly comparable to that of the 5.56 M193 ammo used by the U.S. Armed Forces.
That said, we do have dedicated 223 Rem home defense ammo currently in stock. This is police grade, highly reliable, and designed for terminal expansion that will (A) deal greater damage to the threat, and (B) reduce the chance of potentially disastrous overpenetration.

A: Without doubt. This cartridge features a new production brass shell casing and military-grade Boxer primer. You may need to adjust to dealing with a military-style primer crimp, but with that you'll find this round produces a worthy reloading component.
