This round owes its incredible potential for accuracy to its 178 grain ELD-X projectile. Its state-of-the-art Heat Shield polymer tip is immune to melting while it is heated by aerodynamic friction, and therefore always presents the perfect meplat downrange. Its boat tail and secant ogive profile streamline the ELD-X even further, while its Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket possesses the concentricity requisite for consummate gyroscopic stability. Once the bullet passes through a 24” barrel, its 0.552 G1/0.278 G7 ballistic coefficient will prevent transonic destabilization until around 1,150 yards. Holy moly!

Unlike the ELD, the ELD-X undergoes terminal expansion. Within 400 yards, the ELD-X’s tough jacket and InterLock ring are sufficient to ensure 50-60% weight retention. At farther distances, the ELD-X will retain about 85-90% of its weight, so you can count on a deep and deadly wound channel no matter how far away your trophy is standing.
