That bullet’s weight is more popular for hunting than it is defense. The FMJ may very well prove instructive if you’re training for hunting season, but it’s still a bona fide hoot if you’re only shooting for fun. The FMJ does have a flat nose, which alongside its rigid brass exterior promises A-OK action in lever guns.
