Imagine the strangest, most alien 380 ammo you have every laid your eyes upon. This ammo we’re selling, right here? It’s the opposite of that. It’s plum normal, as it’s loaded with the 95 grain full metal jackets that many if not most American 380 target shooters prefer.
Remington’s FMJ doesn’t conceal any nasty secrets. Its jacket is copper alloy inside and out, and cannot affect a magnet. Its jacket is also true – not plated – so ported barrels and compensators are fine about it. (Remington Range ammo has plated bullets; higher-quality Remington UMC hasn’t.)
We calculate that FMJ’s G1 BC at 0.079, and its ballistic performance like so (we have not at the time of writing determined Remington’s test barrel length, though we suspect it’s 3.75”):
0yds: 955 fps | 192 ft lbs | -0.5”
5yds: 944 fps | 188 ft lbs | -0.2”
10yds: 934 fps | 184 ft lbs | 0.0”
15yds: 924 fps | 180 ft lbs | 0.1”
20yds: 914 fps | 176 ft lbs | 0.1”
25yds: 905 fps | 173 ft lbs | 0.0”
