Shooting steel targets is fun as heck, if you’ll pardon our French. You don’t have to mess around with stacks of paper, and you get immediate feedback in the form of a resonant “TING!” whenever you land a shot. This round is capped off with Inceptor’s 130 grain Round Nose Precision bullet. Just like Inceptor’s state of the ARX bullet, the PRN is made of an injection-molded polymer-copper compound. Without lead it’s not just clean shooting, but also incapable of creating sparks when it scrapes against hard surfaces. It’s also extremely lightweight, enabling it to deliver a super flat trajectory out of a handgun.

But unlike the ARX, this round’s bullet is frangible! It reacts to high velocity impact by erupting into nontoxic particles, so it pretty much does away with the risk of ricochets or splash-back. Inceptor’s patented SteelSafe technology also makes their PRN bullet even safer to fire at close range steel targets than other manufacturers’ frangible bullets, making this ammo the choice for tactical training.
