“Serb’s up, dudes!” This 45 ACP ammo is made by Prvi Partizan, one of Serbia’s largest ammo manufacturers. Their products are widely regarded as good quality, and we believe your 1911 or any other type of 45 will be well “Serbed” by this range ammo.

This round features the 45’s traditional 230 grain full metal jacket projectile. That’s a simple, balanced type of bullet with a lead core and gilding metal jacket that hardens it for reliable feeding in a semi-auto. Most people exclusively train with FMJs, but very few would consider them an ideal option for self-defense.

This round’s 837 fps muzzle velocity is right in line with what the 1911 prefers. Its ballistic coefficient of 0.216 keeps the bullet going 810 fps at 50 yards or 786 fps at 100, and if you’re zeroed in at the former range you can get by with a trajectory that rises by less than 2”.

Prvi Partizan loads ammo just like American manufacturers do: with new production brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers. The massive company also strictly implements clean burning propellant to achieve such steady muzzle velocities, so you can enjoy highly consistent performance at the range followed by relatively little cleaning.
