Do you own a rifle chambered for 5.56x45 or 223 Wylde? Then no matter how you shoot, a can of these cartridges from Federal’s American Eagle line of ammunition will serve you admirably. Without demanding very much money for it, Federal has given each XM193 round a 55 grain projectile with a precisely applied copper jacket to promote stability in flight. Each bullet further sports a boat tail, a base which raises ballistic coefficient to preserve velocity farther downrange.

Don’t let the “X” before these rounds’ designation concern you -- Federal only includes it to indicate that the rounds are not 100 percent mil-spec and therefore not meant for the military. This is brass cased ammo of the quality which handloaders seek after, with non-corrosive Boxer primers that stay potent for decades. The can this ammo comes in is every bit as sturdy as it needs to be to store reliably and transport through rugged terrain without issue.

Ammo delivered on time and intact. However, even though the box indicates that it has 420 rounds, mine was 416 after counting it twice. It's possible this might be some sort of quality control thing going on. Other than that, no other issues.

Wasn't able to find anything to complain about. This ammunition worked without flaw using it for target practice through 3 different weapons. I Would recommend it

Very good deal on 420 rounds. The shipping and handling is expensive but reasonable, and the ammo still comes out way cheaper than other places. I didn't have a single misfire/malfunction on my springfield saint Vic. Worked great! Will buy again. Plus I got a nice reusable metal can the rounds came in.

Good basic 5.56mm NATO. ammo. Loose rounds in a plastic bag in a good ammo can. Short quantity by 5 rounds. Nothing special. Nothing bad.
