Hornady presents their Superperformance line of ammunition so that you may up your rifle’s muzzle velocity by up to 200 fps without increasing chamber pressure, recoil, barrel fouling, or any other potential negative side effect. They do this thanks to their own specially formulated propellant, so you can enjoy consistently accurate performance without welcoming any unattractive tradeoffs.

This 5.56x45 round features a 55 grain GMX projectile, a bullet which is made completely of a tough copper alloy so that it can retain no less than 95 percent of its weight during penetration, prevent rapid bore fouling, and totally comply with California’s ban on lead ammunition. The long and streamlined bullet features pressure relieving grooves that substantially reduce its drag and bearing surface, as well as a hollow point so that it can expand to far greater than its original diameter as it tunnels through the body of rugged game.
