The 6.5 Grendel is a relatively new round, finalized in 2003 for the AR-15 platform, giving you increased energy and a longer effective range. Designed to be the same overall length as the 223/556 cartridge, the 6.5 Grendel uses the same lower receiver as the popular 223 Rem and 5.56x45mm rifles.
Hornady has been around since 1949, providing some of the best ammunition on the market. When you want top of the line match, self defense, or hunting ammunition, Hornady is the way to go. All of their ammo is proudly loaded in the USA in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Each round in this box of 20 features a 123 grain A-Max projectile that is engineered for maximum accuracy. These polymer tip bullets have a swaged lead core that is wrapped in an AMP jacket for excellent uniformity. A secant ogive profile and ultra-low drag tip help improve the ballistic coefficient for extremely consistent groups. Pick up a couple boxes today and get out to the range soon!

Customer rating:
I've fired alot of this ammo through my Alexander Arms 20" AWS and it has worked flawlessly. No FTF's or FTE. Routinely shoots under 1/2 MOA at 100yds and shoots 1 MOA or better at 500.
