“Dikkatil tutunuz.” That is Turkish for “Please handle with care.” Astute shooters will deduce that such message is printed on this case of Wolf ammunition because it was manufactured in Turkey – not Russia, which, at the time of writing, is a country we cannot legally import ammo from.

This ammo’s Turkish manufacturer stuck to the same cost-trimming formula that has made the Wolf brand so popular among American sportsmen. The trick is quite simple: use steel in place of brass!

This ammunition is loaded with steel cases: lacquered for added corrosion resistance and reduced friction inside a semi-automatic, sealed to guard against moisture infiltration, and charged with noncorrosive Berdan primers. The chief thing to bear in mind about such cases is that they aren’t reloadable. Well, technically they are, but not without way more effort and frustration than you need in your life right now.

This ammo’s bullets are nonmagnetic. They do attract a magnet. The 123 grain full metal jacket projectiles’ copper jackets mean they are good to go at a gun range that proscribes “magnetic ammunition.”
