A huge step up from the usual cheapo 7.62x39 ammo one might choose for plinking, right here! Prvi Partizan of Serbia doesn’t take shortcuts like steel cases or bimetal jackets. Their 7.62x39 ammunition is reloadable and acceptable to fire at nearly all ranges because of it!
But that’s not why this ammo’s so special. It is loaded with true blue hunting bullets – 123 grain pointed soft points, which burrow deeply and expand wide as they tunnel through game. It’s terminal ballistics you can trust to get the job done, so long as you’re keeping within a reasonable range for hunting whatever you happen to be hunting!
Prvi Partizan reports 750 meters per second muzzle velocity, and 475 meters per second velocity at 300 meters (610 millimeter test barrel). We don’t do metric here at Lucky Gunner (with some exceptions, e.g. 9mm), which is why we calculated the 0.279 G1 BC bullet’s 24” barrel ballistic performance as the following:
