This 7.62x51mm cartridge by Prvi Partizan is an M80 ball round. Its 145 grain non-magnetic projectile is two grains lighter than what’s considered standard for an M80, but it does bear the full metal jacket a semi-automatic requires for positive functioning when fired rapidly. That hard jacket also enables this bullet to prevent rapid bore fouling as well as penetrate a great variety of media. This bullet further features a tapered base, a trait which measurably increases its ballistic coefficient to give it improved resistance to cross and vertical winds, the ability to hang on to a better part of its velocity downrange, and a flatter trajectory over longer distances than a comparable flat base bullet could achieve.

Prvi Partizan has given this cartridge a reloadable brass casing. Its Boxer primer is protected in its pocket by a sealant that helps it to resist corrosion. This round’s propellant consistently produces a supersonic 2,835 fps muzzle velocity, and it burns clean to lessen the need for frequent cleaning.
