MagTech ammo has been made in Brazil since 1926. They were once part of Remington, but now they're owned by the CBC group who also owns the Sellier and Bellot ammo company. MagTech ammo has a great reputation. And they make ammo for military, law enforcement, and civilians in over 50 countries. All their powder, primers, and bullets are made in house in MagTech which allows them superior quality control and consistency. They also do a lot of experimenting and torture testing to their ammo to make sure that it'll function reliably under a variety of different circumstances.
For this review, we tested MagTech's 124 grain over 9mm full metal case. A full metal case is just MagTech's term for full metal jacket. So the bullet is just lead core with a regular copper jacket on it. And a exposed base just like most other full metal jacket bullets. Through all seven of our test guns, we got good reliability and good accuracy, just as expected. This particular MagTech ammo is made with sport shooting in mind. And because of its reliability and consistency, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for that purpose.

Best 9mm Practice Ammo
Magtech 124 grain FMJ practice ammo is the best I’ve found for use in my FN 509 Tactical with PMM compensator. It ran flawlessly while other brands jammed frequently. It also run great in my Glocks so it has become my go to round for 9mm semi-auto pistols!
MagTech 9mm 124 grn
Have been buying from LUCKY GUNNER for the past 2 years. GREAT fast service and HUGE selection of all types of ammo. Been using the MAGTECH brand for the past 3,000 rounds, must say great ammo, clean accurate and NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. Rest assured that LUCKY GUNNER has you covered
I pretty much always look for a bargain and buy the least expensive 124g boxer primed brass I can find. This month, Magtech was the best value. Have shot 400 out of the thousand rounds I bought and it all run flawlessly. Not surprising that Magtech is owned by Sellier & Bellot. Another quality lower priced round. As usual, Lucky Gunner's service and shipping was great!
I always go for whatever is the best bargain I can find in 124 grain boxer primed brass. I buy what's on sale so I've shot quite a few brands. So far I've put about 300 rounds out of a P365, HK vp9, and HK vp9 sk. All flawless. Recommended!
Pretty good ammos....put 500 rounds through with no problems....
Pretty good ammos....put 500 rounds through with no problems.... my carry gun (taurus millenium pro pt111) is picky about the ammo it uses but these magtech the 124gr and the 115gr goes through without any problem.. highly recommended... oh and 2 day shipping from luckygunner... even better it ships the same day if you buy it before the deadline... definately will be back...
Have used Magtech in both my 9mm Glocks (17 & 19) without any issues and my Ruger LC9. I like it a lot and prefer it especially with the new packing. It is so compact you do a double take and make sure that the whole 1000 rounds are there because it looks like a 500 round sized box. Takes up a lot less room in the safe and easier to go to training with 2000 rounds.
Lucky Gunner service is unbeatable. This is my second order of Magtech 9mm ammo. I have yet to have a misfire or jam with this ammo. On Sunday, I fired about 250 rounds at a training exercise and not a single problem occurred. You can find cheaper ammo but it will leave much more residue. I'll keep checking back for another 1000 rounds of a Magtech.
Great price and good Ammo.
The price was great and the Magtech ammo was pretty good. I did get some jams with my new Glock 34 but overall the ammo is pretty consistent. The jams may have been caused by the CA 10 round clips.
Qualify practice ammo at good value.
Been shooting this stuff from a Sig P226, a 1911 chambered in 9mm and an H&K P2000 for years. No failures to fire and never a jam in the Sig or H&K -- very rare jams in the 1911. Burns clean. All the accuracy you need in practice. Good value.
Ran about 200 rounds shortly after receiving my order. Great quality ammo. Cleaning the gun afterwards was easy. Not a lot of mess. No ftf or fte. No problems at all. I bought at the time of elections and luckygunner did a great job getting it to me in a timely manner considering how backed up they were. Thanks again for a great product and great customer service. I definitely will be calling in another order in soon.
