This 9mm ammo is made by Belom, who cut the ribbon on their new factory in Uzići, Serbia back in 2017. Belom is a subsidiary of Borbeni Složeni Sistemi, a major Eastern European defense contractor that specializes in the production of armored personnel carriers and heavy artillery. Small arms ammo was a natural next step for them.

This is perfect ammo for working over targets at the range. It has a middleweight 124 grain bullet, with a just barely subsonic muzzle velocity of 1,115 fps to deliver a garden variety trajectory accompanied by a relatively softer report. Its lead core is strengthened with antimony and its copper jacket is made harder by the addition of zinc, so it’s extremely resistant to deformation under pressure. A bullet like this isn’t designed for self-defense. It’s not going to mushroom inside soft tissue, which isn’t to say it’s going to leave said soft tissue in better shape than how it found it.

Belom’s 9mm ammo has sealed and non-corrosive primers, new production brass cases, and clean burning double base propellant. We took these 100 rounds from a larger container of ammo and sealed them in little plastic bags for shipment.
