This ammunition is manufactured in the happy land of Czechia by STV Technology, whose production wing extends back over 100 years and whose modern ammo is utilized by police and military organizations alike. It’s not fancy, but it’s also not expensive – and you can live without fancy when you’re just noodling around at the pistol range.

• Are its bullets magnetic? No. STV uses nonferrous brass (CuZn30) and lead (PbSn) alloys to make full metal jacket projectiles.
• Are its cases steel? No. STV uses brass (CuZn30) to make new reloadable cases.
• Are its primers corrosive? Negatory. STV loads this new ammunition with noncorrosive Boxer primers (fact of the day: in Czechia, nekorozívní means “noncorrosive”).
