Hornady's BLACK brand of ammo is expressly designed for optimized performance in America's favorite rifles! As such, these .300 BLK rounds are perfect for factory ARs (DI or Piston), custom builds, and appropriately chambered bolt-guns like the Remington 700 SPS. Each cartridge is built using a reloadable brass casing with a non-corrosive Boxer primer installed at its base and a precise measure of powder in its body. Hornady seals the round using their V-MAX projectile which weighs in at 110 grains.

110 grains is a common lightweight projectile for the .300 AAC Blackout caliber and boasts high velocity, flat trajectory, and excellent terminal ballistics at the expense of an audible supersonic crack regardless of suppressor presence. The V-MAX bullet design features a swaged lead core, flat base, and high-quality copper jacket free of burrs. The V-MAX also uses a slim hollow cavity covered by a polymer tip that tapers to the bullet's sloping ogive; this results in excellent drag resistance alongside reliable, explosive fragmentation which makes short work of coyotes, deer, and smaller hogs.
