A: No sir. A Federal Train + Protect cartridge is loaded with the "Versatile Hollow Point," while a Punch is loaded with a Punch JHP. I can't go into specifics, but the Punch JHP is considered to be higher quality. The VHP is designed to make training with the same ammo you would use for defense more economical, while the Punch JHP is marketed solely for defensive shooting.

A: Interesting question Nora! You probably wouldn't want to use a 380 ACP on a target any farther than 10 yards out. If you didn't care about hitting your target at all, then the 380 ACP bullet could very well travel up to 1,450 yards (4,350 feet). I would recommend treating the 380 ACP like it's capable of covering a full mile. Always make sure you have a reliable backdrop when you're shooting outside!
