Winchester’s Ranger line of ammunition is made for law enforcement professionals – but cops don’t exclusively need ammo for personal protection. This 45 ACP +P ammo is designed to make training substantially safer, and it’s now available to the civilian market!

This overpressure round’s lead-free bullet weighs a mere 175 grains. That makes its muzzle velocity fast and its trajectory very flat. As a frangible bullet, the sintered tin and copper projectile can only react to collision with a hard surface by disintegrating. That’s why this ammo poses a significantly reduced chance of pelting the firing line with dangerous bits of shrapnel. A must for shooting steel targets, we would say!

This ammo also makes training at indoor ranges safer by limiting the shooter’s exposure to heavy metals. Its frangible bullet can’t scatter lead particles into the air following impact, and its primer contains no lead or other heavy metals which have no business inside your lungs. A lead-free bullet additionally promotes a cleaner barrel by the end of the target session. This brass-cased, Boxer-primed ammo is reloadable despite its unconventional components.
