A: Hello Adam! Steel cases are cheaper to manufacture. That is their only upside. On the downside, they are (A) not reloadable, and (B) inclined to allow more propellant residue (i.e. fouling) inside the action. Both of these drawbacks are due to the nature of steel, which is less supple than brass, and therefore (A) cannot return to its original dimensions following ignition, and (B) cannot expand to seal the chamber during ignition. The steel these cases are made of is substantially harder than the gun parts they will come into contact with, so accelerated wear and tear really isn't an issue. This ammo ought to work in a G2c, although some firearms just aren't reliable with steel-cased ammunition. I cannot predict whether yours is one of them. I strongly recommend testing out a box of 50 before committing to an entire case. Thanks for reaching out!
