Performance
I purchased quite a bit of this ammo, about 150 rounds worth. It was visually like many products from lake city. Annealed and rather dirty. Not corroded by any means, Just Lake city ammunition in many different calibers seem to be dirty, spotted and oxidized in places. it did look like some had surface rust from MG links.
The ammunition comes with varied coloured primer sealant and appears to have neck sealant as well. Would make good long term storage ammo if paired with a water tight can. of which, Lining a standard 50 BMG can (like what Is sold here) with standard cardboard in single layer on all sides and the bottom, will allow you to fit about 135 rounds within.
I gave a brief inspection of each round as i loaded them into the can, and did notice a few had dents where the case necks down to the bullet. This may be a concern for some, but i dont think they will effect anything too poorly.
As for performance, well I got this for a plan to hold on too if i ever did get me a 50, so sadly i cannot comment there which is why i give it 3/5 for performance. It is standard M33 steel core ball ammunition though, so looking up how that performs should give you an idea.

Its M33, it just works. Its fairly accurate for a 50 round, and is consistent. Lucky Gunner is, as always, an absolute joy to work with and buy from. Highly recommended.

Damage to shoulder-neck junction
Review by Roamer
I have not fired any of the 50 rounds that I bought, but I did perform a cursory inspection. One cartridge at the shoulder-neck junction has a slit with a deep symmetrical teardrop-shaped divot at one end of the slit. The divot does not pierce all the way through the case wall, but it looks like it is about a hair's breadth away from doing so. Another cartridge has a curved teardrop shaped divot (but not quite a through-and-through hole) and a more difficult to see slit about 1/8" away from the divot. (Pictures cannot be submitted, which is why I am describing it this way.) I was not expecting this surplus machine gun ammo to be pretty, but I am not sure these two rounds are even safe to use. Best case scenario, they fire without issue, but the brass is completely unusable for reloading afterwards. I am not going to buy more. I'll probably get some PMC ammo, which I had initially avoided simply because I figured good ol' American ammo would be sturdy enough for a fun day at the range, with brass to reload when I am done.
