Prvi Partizan Ammunition began in 1928 and has become the sole supplier of ammo to the Serbian Army and Police as well as to many other military forces around the world. Additionally, Prvi Partizan Ammo produces a large range of hunting and sporting ammunition. Over the years, Prvi Partizan ammo has used their own experience and knowledge to grow, improve their quality, and establish a tradition of supplying both an economical and precision manufactured product.
Recently, on September 7th of 2009, 7 people were killed in a Prvi Partizan Ammo factory explosion. None of the machinery at the plant was damaged; however, because of water damage from the activation of a sprinkler system, ammo production was delayed for about a month.
Prvi Partizan Ammunition is manufactured at the Prvi Partizan factory in the southwestern part of Serbia in a town called Uzice.
As seen on the Prvi Partizan website:
Decent For The Range - But Dirty!
Review by Kevin
Customer rating:
This ammo is decent for target practice at the range. But it's very dirty. That results in more filth on your gun. As long as you don't mind spending extra time cleaning your guns, I think you'll be alright. Also, I had a couple of failure to ejects and a couple of times my gun (an otherwise VERY reliable Walther PPQ) didn't lock the slide back after the last round.
Personally, I'm going to stick with other stuff from Winchester, Remington or Blazer for my target ammo.

Does what it says on the tin

In short, it has gone BANG 400 times for me. I expect the next 100 will do the same. Good brass. Nice ammo can. Far more accurate than I am. I’d say that if you’re an average enthusiast who enjoys doing target shooting, this ammo is hard to beat. Next time I’m going to order 2 cans instead of 1.

Best for carbines
Review by Marcus
Customer rating:
I bought this because it runs really great in my M44 Mosin. However, it did rattle my scout scope mount loose. Before that, it was grouping rather well (better that the expensive Hornady stuff sold at a giant retailer). A little loctite and re mounting my scope, we'll be zero'd in for deer season by next week.

Accurate ammunition
Review by George
Customer rating:
Recently purchased a box of this for accuracy testing against Remington & Winchester in my Ruger 77/22H
It won at 100 yards.
The difference was not great, but it warrants field trials on game.

Review of 22 Hornet - 45 Grain SP - Prvi Partizan - 50 Rounds8 of 15
loud bang for the bug
Review by Bundeswehr
Customer rating:
I like it. I shot this ammo through a Taurus 605 snub. Expands nice even after ripping through a 4 by 4 first.
So don't hide behind a 4 by 4 it will not help you.
Good penetration, good expansion, good performance. I would carry this ammo with confidence in a rural area. Penetration In urban areas could become a liability issue.

Would not recommend
Review by Sean
Customer rating:
So bought four 50 packs of this based on the 5 star reviews for my wife's S&W 640 Pro. This ammo is very dirty compared to some Blazer Brass we put through it previously...like really dirty and you can see it when you fire it and see it when you clean the gun afterwards. Also out of the two boxes we used two days ago one failed to fire. I have two boxes left and will try something else next time.

this stuff is just as good as Federal match, if not better.
Review by Rooster
Customer rating:
I bought a 1000 rds of this Prvi on a recommendation from a good friend that owns a gun store, and what a great recommendation it was. From the fresh brass to the non coro primers to the after all what really counts: the most accurate at 200 and 300 yds. 100 yards was like o moa, 200 and 300 was 1/4 to 1/2. Thru a triple lapped stainless bull barrel mounted to an Armalite 10.

Best Cheap Ammo in .22 Hornet
Review by Rob
Customer rating:
I have been using Prvi Partisan in my M-6 for 15 years or so. I remember it as being quite cheap, maybe a quarter a round in the old days; it has doubled in price since then. But despite the price hike, I still prefer Prvi Partisan for accuracy and clean shooting.
