Cycled through a Glock 43x (7yds.) and a CZ P10-F (10yds.) nicely. My groups were a bit tighter than with quality target rounds in 115gr., which somehow surprised me. For CCW I would go with this ammo instead of 124gr., especially after seeing the gel tests. A bit easier to shoot, less recoil.

Would not cycle on my 7.5” even with Surefire 300SPS suppressor, less-than H1 customized buffer weight, 15%-reduced-power buffer spring, .109” enlarged gas port, aero precision adjustable gas blocked opened up fully… would not grab the next round. I’m buying an 8.5” barrel, so get off my back, but still.

Living in a restricted state [no semi-automatic rifles allowed], I decided to go with a Henry Repeating Arms Big Boy X chambered in .357 Magnum / .38 Special for home defense. The Hornady LEVERevolution loads [side loading gate no problem, tube easiest], feeds, and shoots extremely well. Also, this Hornady LEVERevolution round does seem to shoot relatively "flat" for a .357 Magnum which I really appreciate. This is my preferred round for home defense purposes. There is a price premium, but overall I think the performance warrants the price.

This round fires very straight through a 6.5” barrel revolver. I was impressed with the accuracy for a lower energy, heavier round. hit a 10” target near center at 80 yards on the first shot with one hand. Very good for a revolver and bigger bullet. FTX is made for closer range without over penetrating”. Recoil was surprisingly low. Muzzle flip was low as well. Felt great. I feel confident it will take down just about any medium sized mammal inside of 30 yards.
