Ran a box of these thru my 10.5 inch 300 Blackout with a KGM R30 suppressor. Each bullet fell about 5" low at 35 yards. I now have 9 more boxes that I consider a waste of money. They did cycle thru the weapon ok but I would not want to depend on them for self defense, hunting or even range work.

Love the way it shoots, hate the way it chambers

It looks great, it sounds great, it shoots great and, even unsuppressed, it doesn't chamber worth a darn. In one 30 round mag, I had to clear one total misfeed and two partial feeds. I have 6 boxes of this stuff and am going to be looking for other options in the future to see if some of the other options out there, like Sig, work better for having fun. I'll likely save this for very specialized applications where I want to do subsonic hunting.

This is a niche round, so it explains the price per round. I have found it cheaper here and other places. I purchased quite a bit based on numerous online reviews of others using this specific saboted 20ga slug round with their bolt action Savage 220 rifled slug barrel with a Bushnell Banner 3x9 scope. Best 3 shot group I achieved at 100 yards was 8". I got a 2" group with the even more expensive Remington Accu Tip so I wouldn't take this round in the field at this point. Bottom line (and I'll own this mistake) - find the round that works best with your gun before buying in bulk. Side note - I did contact Hornady and they agreed to test any rounds I was willing to send them (at my shipping expense). I sent 15 and I am waiting the results. In the unlikely event there is a QA problem and they aren't able to get tight groups, they'll warranty replace my purchased rounds. If not, they'll replace the test rounds. My hunch is that MY Savage just likes the Remington round better.

Tried shooting this through a BCM 8” Upper and an Aero Lower. Did not have issues with the Black Hills ammo, but when using this ammo I had a problem with failures to feed and double feeds while using Lancer 300BLK mags. If you like having your semi auto turn into a single shot, this is the ammo for you.

This product was recommended by my instructor who taught my home defense class. Shot 25 rounds at the range just to make sure there were no problems with my S&W Shield Plus. No problems at all.

This is some great ammo. It works excellent in anything I have fired it in. It does have a little more recoil than other ammo, so be aware of that if buying for your Airweight or if looking for something with less recoil.
Lucky Gunner is also excellent. I love buying my ammo from them!
