Can get .4 moa accuracy out of my accurized m1a with this stuff on a good day. Amazing ammo that performs better than gold medal match.

Excellent Ammo, perfect for large game on a Safari
Review by Ryan
This ammo shot incredibly well out of my custom VZ 24 Mauser. Before I bought these shells I had only been using PRVI to regulate the rear sight and hunt deer but when I scheduled my first african safari I wanted a better quality round. I wasn't disappointed, my rifle grouped these rounds under 3/4" at 100 yards with an 8x leupold VX3. I used them to harvest Kudu, Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Zebra, Blesbok and Warthog. As long as I did my part they only needed one bullet. The only critter that took more than one was my male Blesbok and that was just for insurance, also my initial shot was about 2 inches back from the shoulder but he was dead on his feet. Certainly plan on using this round again if I pull that rifle from the safe for anything larger than a whitetail. I honestly feel that the cheaper bullets in the PRVI might be better for the thin skinned game as they are more likely to dump energy faster when the bullet expands. Lucky Gunner had the best price I could find at the time and had excellent customer service.

Guy I met at the range shoots the 6.5 Creedmoor version in his Ruger PRS and loves it. So, I thought I'd try it in 6.5 Grendel. My Unitah UPR-15 Grendel upper loves this stuff. I fired 50 rounds. 22 rounds at 50 yards bore sighting and doing a barrel breakin. 28 rounds sighting in my scope. The last three groups were sub MOA at 100 yards with the last group .45 MOA.
I'll absolutely buy more!

Only tried these once. They worked 100% when single loaded at the range in my Rem 700 bolt action.. I have taken at least one deer every season with this rifle for over a decade. Last Fall, the fiber tip jammed my rifle while working the bolt for a possible follow up shot (the round that took the deer was a Win Super X JSP). The tip jammed at an angle and I had to find tools to unjam the round. I have heard of this before from others. Fortunately, I did not need the 2nd shot (never have yet in this caliber) this ammo may not be for every rifle.

Good Quality and Reliable.
Review by Stingray
If you are looking to stock up on some 5.56, this ammo is a good choice. These fly true with the BT design. Even I can dig out the center 3-4 moa of a target @ 100 yards without a magnifying scope with these rounds. I have never had a misfire with this ammo either. FBI research shows that M193 is also a good home defense round because it has LESS penetrating potential then most handgun rounds due to the fact that it has a tendency to tumble and fragment as soon as it hits a wall or object, more so than larger caliber handgun ammo does. This means that it doesn't go through as many walls. All in all this is a good ammo packing affordability and reliability into a 5.56 case.

Ran a couple of boxes of the Crititical Defense through my S&W .380 with Crimson Trace laser this morning. Very accurate. At 7 yards I could keep 7 shots in a 3 inch circle. Functioned smoothly through the gun. BUT I had one round fail to fire. Strong firing pin dent in the primer. A dud. Not very comforting in my carry load. I figure it's a one in a million flaw, but it did happen. Just glad it was on the range.
